He spoke to a crowd of about 200 people (that’s a lot for Columbus) at First Congregational Church and received a standing ovation before moving on to a Q&A session. We had people come from all over the state, including organizers from Dayton 9/11 Truth, We Are Change Cleveland, and Cincinnati 9/11 Truth.
Many, many thanks go out to everyone who helped organize the event, as well as all those who attended. And another big thanks to those who donated so generously — your support will allow us to produce more events like this in the future which will continue to educate our community!
Many thanks to Evan Davis, producer/organizer for Columbus Community Radio stations 102.1FM and 98.3FM, for producing such an AMAZING PSA for this event!
It’s running about twice a day between 3pm-8pm on both stations, which happen to be Pacifica affiliates! Keep in mind these are low-power stations so you have to be in the right part of town to pick it up.
An organization called Columbus 9/11 Truth made its way to the front of the crowd with its large sign. The 9/11 truth movement questions the U.S. government’s official explanation for what happened that day, and seeks further investigation.
When the protesters first approached the speakers’ area with its sign, a few residents attempted to push them out of the way. Quickly and quietly, police officers stopped what could have become a confrontation, and peace prevailed.
Not only was our presence prominently featured in the article, there is no use of the phrase “conspiracy theorists” or anything pejorative (yes, apparently now theorizing has a negative connotation) we usually expect to see in mainstream media mentions. It would be wonderful if you would take a second to email Candy Brooks and thank her for the mention of us in this article.
